Our speaker designing friends then spend weeks calculating crossover slopes and months tweaking frequency responses to create truly amazing speakers. We invest tens of thousands of dollars upfront to source hundreds of woofers, tweeters, and components for every single run. Again, it is a labor of love and I've enjoyed it, but it is also incredibly time consuming work. Right now, our designer friends don't really get to see the impact of their hard work, and we don't have the on-site feedback I hoped for to justify the steep costs of ordering another huge production run of these particular models. Many kits have slowly gone away over the years due to lack of input. All of that gets installed in a 'knock down' style flat pack cabinet that you can glue together very easily. The HT-6 speaker kits will handle 200 watts and play at 112db. Designed for home theater use and must be paired with a subwoofer system for best sound quality.  We would normally recommend pairing these high output HT-6's with at least one very powerful 15-inch subwoofer or more.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cem\u003e\u003cstrong\u003eFrom the Designer:\u003c\/strong\u003e I like the clean look of the 6-inch Celestion woofer and it sounds really good too. Sounds wise, this is a very close match to the other HT models and could be used with the other higher output home theater speakers as well. The designer gave it a very flat frequency response with a slight bump on the bottom end to provide a little extra kick that a speaker of this size should offer. The pro-audio components are highly efficient and don't require much power to play loud in a home environment. They're designed to handle much more power than you will ever send them, so even at high volumes in a home environment they aren't even breaking a sweat. This keeps distortion at absolute minimal levels while maintaining a clear and composed sound even at a high volume.
