Designed with a 1 inch textile fabric dome and a ferrofluid-cooled voice coil, this driver has a low 1,200 Hz resonant frequency (Fs) to allow a low minimum crossover point of 2,000 Hz. We all like a strong mounting plate, and this tweeter has it. A heavy, die-cast alloy faceplate protects the diaphragm while acting as a subtle waveguide to control dispersion and improve off-axis listening performance. To reduce unwanted resonances, a specialized internal damping ring is positioned directly beneath the dome. The motor system uses a fully shielded double magnet structure, allowing for safe placement near sensitive electronics.
