Zap Acoustics PolyVibe™ Speaker Damping Blankets 1" Thickness

Zap PolyVibe™ synthetic cotton speaker damping blankets are made in the USA from our stitch-bonded A9 grade fibers that are free of chemicals or resins. A true 1" thick damping material that works better inside your speaker cabinets than similar thickness denim materials and without the dust or matting. You will not find a better or safer material anywhere on the market. It's an eco-friendly, lightweight, thermal acoustic damping material for all types of speakers. Naturally flame resistant and made to exact specifications under strict quality control to ensure you receive a consistent high grade product.

This material is pliable enough to easily be installed in your cabinet at any time and will fit through woofer holes without a problem. This style and density is perfect for lining internal walls, or use this material by itself as a complete fill inside your speaker or small subwoofer. One of the best all around damping materials used by high end speaker manufacturers for decades.

Ease of Use: Our 22" x 40" blanket is designed to be easily measured and cut at home.  One ounce to every 4" of material.  Simply put, each 4" x 22" of this material will weigh approximately 1 ounce. Measure and cut, no scale needed, no guesswork. Here are some use examples:

• One Overnight Sensation TM needs 1 ounce of polyfill.  Cut a 4" x 22" rip and you'll have exactly the right amount. Put it in the speaker and you're done. 
• One Overnight Sensation MTM needs 2 ounces of polyfill.  Cut an 8" x 22" rip and you'll have the correct amount.
  
• Bonded material holds it's shape so you can push it in the cabinet and it will hug the side walls, or you can cut it in smaller pieces and glue it to the inner panels.
