Description

Zap's speaker sealing caulk is made in the USA with no harsh chemicals and it's 100% Carb 2 compliant and water resistant. Used extensively in commercial audio applications and in car audio installs to create an air tight gasket for tweeters, woofers, and subwoofers when a foam style gasket can't be used. This seal helps to improve the speaker's performance by preventing air from leaking around the drivers mounting frame, which can reduce unwanted resonances and vibrations. This speaker caulk can also be used as a damping material on the back side of thin waveguides or horns and even thin speaker port tubes to help reduce any unwanted vibrations that might negatively affect sound quality. This product stays pliable and tacky throughout it's life span. Each piece is roughly 1/4" x 12" long and one order comes with 72 pieces.
