Zap Acoustics PolyVibe™ Synthetic Cotton Speaker Damping Fiber

Zap Acoustics PolyVibe™ synthetic cotton speaker damping fiber is made in the USA. This is the highest quality synthetic cotton material that you can purchase and has a minimal grade rating of A9. It’s very soft and denser than traditional polyfill which makes it an excellent speaker damping agent. Recommended for lining internal walls or lightly stuffing the inside of smaller tower, bookshelf, and other small speaker cabinets. This material comes in 1" thick sheets that can be glued to the internal walls of your cabinet or ‘fluffed’ up if needed. It can be installed at any time during your speaker build and will easily fit through woofer holes. The last product photo shows what just an 8" strip of this material can be fluffed up to. A single 8" strip would be enough for a midsized bookshelf speaker by either lining the walls or fluffing it up and using it for stuffing. So one order of 36" material would be enough for about 4 bookshelf speakers.
