Denovo Audio EOS-14B 1.4" Elliptical Waveguide Bolt-On

The Denovo Audio EOS-14B is a large Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal waveguide for 1.4" compression drivers. The EOS waveguide shape is designed to provide better sound dispersion and coverage, resulting in improved audio quality and a more uniform listening experience. Waveguides like this help control the directivity of high-frequency sounds, ensuring that your audio is evenly distributed across a wide area. The overall goal of an EOS waveguide is to reduce distortion, improve imaging and soundstage, and create a more natural and immersive listening experience for the you.

Helpful Note: Recommended for woofer sizes from 10" - 15". Could easily be used with some 1" dome tweeters with very little DIY work. This is an very solid, acoustically dead waveguide and about 3/8" thick. Minimum recommended crossover for a waveguide of this size would be about 1000hz, but that can be pushed lower if needed. They are made from a fiber reinforce plastic with a slight texture on the front.  Due to the type of material and how these are made there are some very slight ghosting on the face when looked at under certain lighting. It's not easy to see but many people in the DIY community normally paint these with a matte black spray paint anyway.
