Denovo Audio OS-55B 1" Oblate Waveguide Bolt-On

The Denovo Audio OS-55B is an Oblate Spheroidal design made from aluminum. The curved shape of an OS waveguide helps reduce diffraction effects, which then reduces distortion and coloration of the sound. The shape also improves directivity for a more focused sound dispersion. This can be particularly beneficial in applications where the sound needs to be directed towards a specific area or audience.

Helpful Note: Recommended for woofer sizes from 4" - 8". Removable mounting plate allows easy use of custom adapters to mount dome tweeters. Minimum recommended crossover for a waveguide of this size would be about 2200hz. This model has a nice matte finish but can be spray painted other colors pretty easy.  Aluminum construction is strong and because it's a thinner material you can surface mount this waveguide and it will still look good.
