The Cinergy 1/4"-20 hurricane nuts are professional grade. Made in the USA from high quality carbon steel so they're a better quality than most companies carry. These are the same hurricane nuts used in custom furniture and woodworking shops around the country. Hurricane nuts are a style of T-nut used to create a strong threaded hole through a piece of hardwood so you can use screws or bolts to attach your drivers securely. Due to their design they will not split the material you are using them in. They have 'cutters' on the outside of the barrel that provide superior retention in harder woods, particle board, and even plastic. These work great for all drivers used in your speaker project from tweeters to subwoofers. We recommend using a 5/16" drill bit for installation. Price listed is for 25 pieces.
