Add a little character to your speakers with Cinergy's weathered brass finish truss head speaker screws. They're perfect for mounting woofers and tweeters in your speaker cabinet to give them a more finished look. They also work great in place of standard black truss head screws when assembling cabinets. These high quality screws are designed with a sharp cutter (auger) on the tip of the screw that reduces the chance of the wood splitting. They have course threads giving you strong retention power in all types of wood, including MDF. Head diameter is .37" across.  Due to their sharp tips, they are considered 'self tapping' or 'self piercing' screws but we always recommend drilling pilot holes whenever installing any screw in any type of wood.  This is done as a precaution to lower your chances of splitting the wood.
