Professional 1/4"-20 Speaker Mounting Kit with 6 Prong T-Nuts

Cinergy Audio speaker mounting kits make woofer installations easier, more secure, and they look great too! This kit comes with eight of our 1/4"-20 socket head cap screws and eight of our professional 6 prong T-nuts. 6 prong T-nuts are used for to create a strong threaded hole in softer material like MDF, plywood, and OSB. These are the same high quality T-nuts you'll find in professional cabinet shops. They have a thinner, sharper, and slightly shorter barbs than other 6 prong models to help reduce the chance of splitting or splintering the wood that they're being inserted into. The sharper and thinner barbs also make installation easier than lower quality models. 

The barrel shaft on the T-nut is 9/16" long making them perfect for 3/4" or thicker material. We normally recommend using a 5/16" drill bit for installation. The screw is 1-1/2" long and the head is .36" (9.4mm) in diameter. The threaded portion of the shaft is 1-1/8" and they can be installed with a standard 3/16" hex key which reduces the chance of your screwdriver slipping off during installation. This speaker mounting kit is great for mounting woofers and subwoofers in your speaker cabinet.
