Denovo Audio EOS-8S 1" Elliptical Waveguide Screw-On

The Denovo Audio EOS-8S is an Elliptical Oblate Spheroidal design. The EOS waveguide shape is designed to provide better sound dispersion and coverage, resulting in improved audio quality and a more uniform listening experience. Waveguides like this help control the directivity of high-frequency sounds, ensuring that your audio is evenly distributed across a wide area. The overall goal of an EOS waveguide is to reduce distortion, improve imaging and soundstage, and create a more natural and immersive listening experience for the you.

Helpful Note: Recommended for woofer sizes from 6" - 12". This is the same shape as the EOS-8B, but it's made for screw on compression drivers. Minimum recommended crossover for a waveguide of this size would be about 1500hz, but due to it's extra depth, that can be pushed a little lower if needed. The finish is gloss and most people seem to leave them that way. They can be painted with a matte black spray paint but it would be a good idea to very lightly scuff up the surface with a fine mesh steel wool or sanding pad.
