Cinergy Audio .25" Posi-Locker quick disconnect crimp terminals are designed to slide on and securely lock onto virtually all standard .25" male crimp terminals.  Easy removal by simply pushing down on the front over-sized tab to unlock. Commonly used in the commercial industry for PowerCON or SpeakON connectors or car audio installations, but work equally well in home audio to keep children or pets from pulling wires off your devices.  Solid brass contact receptacle is designed to make hooking up your audio projects easier and for making a safe electrical junction between the cable and an electrical connection.

Installation Note:

• Prepare the wire: Strip the insulation from the ends of the wire you want to connect, exposing the bare wire. We usually recommend about .25" of exposed wire.
• Slide on the terminal: Place the female crimp terminal over the exposed wire. Make sure the wire is fully inserted into the terminal, with the wire insulation sitting against the base of the terminal.
• Crimp the terminal: Use a crimping tool or a pair of strong pliers to crimp the lower barrel of the terminal onto the wire. This will secure the wire inside the terminal. Ensure that the crimps are tight enough to secure the wire inside the terminal.
• Secure the connection (optional): You can use a small amount of electrical tape or a heat-shrink sleeve to wrap around the base of the terminal.
• Test the connection: Give a slight tug on the crimp terminal and wire to be sure they are fully connected and secure.
