The HiVi M4N-B expands on the proven architecture of the M-series, but with an all-black appearance. The matte black anodized aluminum-magnesium cone fills a cosmetic gap for builders who like the acoustic profile of the M4N but prefer the non-reflective black look on their front baffle. In a small sealed chamber, it delivers a smooth, controlled rolloff in the critical vocal range without the peaky port behavior common to high-Q woofers.

Electrically and mechanically, the M4N-B is designed with a resonant frequency near 70 Hz and a high total Q for sealed and isolated-chamber alignments. In a modest sealed enclosure or dedicated 3-way midrange chamber, it delivers a smooth, gradual roll-off on the low end without any boomy exaggerated bass. This allows for simple crossover design between 150 Hz and 5,000 Hz.The cone is paired with a durable rubber surround and a damped spider to control edge resonances. It has a rigid stamped steel frame and a fully shielded ferrite magnet system, eliminating stray magnetic fields in tight AV or desktop setups.

To save you a trip to the hardware store, we include a custom-matched Installation Kit at no extra charge so you can start building immediately. Each M4N-B woofer you buy comes with a pre-cut gasket, two quick connect terminals, and mounting screws for free.
