Sharing that unique visual identity of the smaller M-series drivers, the HiVi M6N delivers a step up in low-end bass authority. The anodized aluminum-magnesium alloy cone has a unique copper/rose-gold finish that really catches your eye and blends great with wood finishes or painted cabinets. The lightweight cone is mated to a rubber surround and a flat CONEX spider, ensuring tight mechanical control and fast transient response in fairly small ported enclosures. The shielded motor utilizes HiVi's Symmetrical Motor Drive (SMD) to suppress distortion and prevent stray magnetic fields. It has a 25mm voice coil wound with copper-clad aluminum wire (CCAW) on a heat-resistant Kapton former.

Unlike high-Q sealed-only drivers, the M6N features a Thiele-Small profile engineered specifically for vented enclosures. With a 46 Hz resonant frequency (Fs), a total Q (Qts) of 0.39, this driver works great in compact 0.70 to 0.75 cu ft bass-reflex cabinets. In this setup, it achieves clean, articulate in-room bass extension down to the low 40's, making it an excellent woofer for stand-mount 2-way speakers or dual-woofer MTM arrangements.

To save you a trip to the hardware store, we include a custom-matched Installation Kit at no extra charge so you can start building immediately. Each M6N woofer you buy comes with a pre-cut gasket, two quick connect terminals, and mounting screws for free.
