Mirage Nano-100 AMT Air Motion Transformer Tweeter 4 Ohm

The Nano AMT air motion transformer tweeters are reintroduced to the Mirage Tweeter Series by Denovo Audio.

The Nano-65 and Nano-100 AMT tweeters were both used in high end studio monitors for over 14 years. In 2022 the company made some cosmetic changes to their line-up and started using the tweeter with a different shaped mounting plate that had their brand name cast into it. We asked them if there was any possibility to continue manufacturing the previous well trusted models. After some back and forth conversations, Denovo was given exclusive rights to restart both AMT tweeter versions for the DIY community using the same manufacturer, same components, and same quality control tests.

The first thing you'll notice when picking up the Nano is the build quality and surprising weight. This is due to a nearly 1/4" thick solid aluminum mounting frame. This overbuilt mount completely eliminates any flex or stress to the thin pleated film inside. This folded film diaphragm is paired with a neodymium magnet drive to keep distortion low and sound quality high. The result is a tweeter that not only sounds amazing but also projects a wide, immersive soundstage which is perfect for your stereo or multi-channel speakers. The sealed back design allows you to use this AMT in smaller speaker builds without needing an extra sealed rear chamber. The 100mm diameter of the Nano-100 is great for drop in replacements in many speaker designs or commercial speakers.
