If you've been looking for a high-output home theater speaker that was only 10" wide, you just found it. The HT-88's were designed to be used next to large screens in fairly tight spaces without giving up the incredible dynamics that our other home theater speakers are known for. This model uses the SEOS-77 waveguide mated to a powerful compression driver that has a smooth and non-fatiguing sound in it's upper frequency range. The two 8" woofers produce a very high sensitivity speaker while still maintaining an easy to power 8 ohm load for your receiver.

Quality name brand professional components are used in all parts of this speaker kit. The custom Celestion compression driver stays surprisingly smooth and detailed even at high output levels for a very well balanced sound. All of that gets installed in a 'knock down' style flat pack cabinet that you can glue together very easily. The HT-88 was designed specifically for home theater use and will handle over 400 watts with output over 120db. These must be paired with a powerful subwoofer system for best sound quality.  We would normally recommend pairing these high output speakers with at least two 18" subwoofers or more. These speakers can keep up with just about any subwoofer system.

Quality Control: Every compression driver gets a professional 5 point quality inspection test before we package your kits. We also frequency match them so that your set of speakers all sound the same. We don't know of any other retailer that completes this level of quality control. We do this because you probably don't have the testing gear or parameters for all of these tests. Because of this type of quality control it can take longer than a week to package and ship your speaker kits.

This kit includes the flat pack cabinet but they are now being packaged and shipped differently.  They are priced at cost ($38.00 each) and because of this they can't be shipped "for free".
